A Legacy of Drainage Expertise
On October 1st, 2025, Doug officially branched off from the family business and started Heritage Landworks, LLC. His family has been serving the agricultural community since 1946, when Doug's grandfather Cy partnered with his father Ed to launch their drainage business.
With over 20 years of hands-on experience, Doug was privileged to work next to his dad Dave for several years learning the ropes. Then in 2012 he moved with his family to Arcanum to jointly manage the Abbotsville shop with his uncle Mike, where we are currently located. We continue this legacy with the same dedication of quality and craftsmanship. Whether it’s improving crop yields or preserving the long-term value of your land, we’ve got your drainage and excavation needs covered.

Systematic Farm Drainage & Large Main Install
We specialize in installing systematic subsurface farm drainage tile 4"-10" using our self-propelled trenchless tile plows.

Our wheel machine is capable of installing tile from 4" up to 30″ in diameter and allows us to install large diameter mains. Our systematic approach improves soil aeration, prevents waterlogging, reduces erosion, and boosts crop yields—helping your farm thrive, no job is too big or too small.
